M&A / Acquisition Analysis

Executive-ready analysis for high-stakes acquisition decisions. Confidential, fast, and senior from start to finish.

What it is

When a PE-backed company, strategic buyer, or executive team is evaluating an acquisition, they need analysis that is fast, reliable, and genuinely independent. We review financial records and business documentation for acquisition targets, identify risks and anomalies, and produce executive-ready analysis to support high-stakes decisions.

This work is not investment banking. We don't broker deals or provide valuations for financing purposes. What we do is give the decision-makers on the buying side a clear, structured view of what they're getting into — including the risks their target's management team may not be volunteering.

Who it's for

  • PE-backed companies evaluating add-on acquisitions under time pressure
  • Strategic buyers whose internal teams don't have bandwidth for thorough diligence
  • Executive teams making acquisition decisions who want an independent view before committing
  • Companies evaluating technology acquisitions that have AI or data components
  • Organizations where a prior acquisition created unexpected problems and they want better diligence next time

What's included

  • Financial statement review and trend analysis (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
  • Revenue quality assessment: customer concentration, churn, contract terms
  • Operational and technology risk identification
  • Data and AI asset assessment (where relevant to the acquisition)
  • Key person dependency and organizational risk analysis
  • Structured risk register with severity ratings and recommendations
  • Executive summary suitable for board or investment committee presentation
  • Q&A support for follow-up diligence questions

Confidentiality

We handle sensitive financial and business documents with discretion. We sign NDAs as a standard part of engagement setup and do not disclose client names or the existence of engagements. All work products are delivered securely.

Timeline

Typically 2–4 weeks from receipt of materials, depending on the volume of documentation and the depth of analysis required. Expedited timelines are available when deal timing requires it — we can scope a faster engagement if you tell us upfront that speed is critical.
